Chicago, IL – The Construction & Demolition Recycling Association (CDRA) is pleased to announce the recipients of its prestigious Annual Awards, including C&D Recycler of the Year, Hall of Fame, President’s Award, Member of the Year, and Best Practices in Safety Awards. Award winners will be recognized on Wednesday, March 13th, during the upcoming C&D World Conference and Exhibition in Dallas, TX, running March 11-14, 2025.

A new media partnership between SEMCO Publishing magazines Rock Products, Concrete Products and Cement Optimized, and the Construction & Demolition Recycling Association (CDRA), will highlight the important role recycling aggregate materials plays in the sustainability of the natural aggregate, concrete and cement industries.

The 10th Shingle Recycling Forum will be held October 29-30, 2024, at the Omni Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky. Hosted by the Construction & Demolition Recycling Association (CDRA), the premier industry event will unite recyclers with manufacturers, asphalt plant operators, road pavers, DOT officials, technology providers, and more for impactful networking and cutting-edge presentations from industry experts. Interest in recycling roofing materials is growing because of circularity demands, higher oil prices, and government initiatives. Learn how all stakeholders influence regulation and end markets, from asphalt pavement to closed-loop recycling, to create the ‘next wave’ of shingle recycling.

To ensure the environmental benefits of recycled materials are properly factored into important policy decisions, CDRA members met with US EPA representatives and commented on the agency’s latest WARM Model revision v16.

Chicago, Illinois (March 1, 2022) – The Construction & Demolition Recycling Association (CDRA) is proud to announce its 2022 Best Practices in Safety award recipients:

Cyclic Aliphatic Bromide Cluster (HBCD) is a chemical no longer used in foam panel insulation, and even when it was used, it was a small part of the total number of foam panels manufactured. Today, the best estimates are that foam panels containing HBCD make up about .015 percent of the C&D waste stream, making it virtually non-existent.

The Executive Committee of the CDRA is proposing adjustments to the Bylaws of the Association, to be discussed and considered at the Board of Directors meeting taking place in Atlanta, GA during the C&D World Annual Conference. The proposed changes (additions and deletions) are as follows, with all adjustments to language shown in red. Only articles affected by these changes are shown.
